Maine's Meet The Buyers Matchmaking Event
This single-day event will bring local businesses together with federal, state, and municipal buyers, as well as prime contractors to discuss opportunities and solutions to upcoming procurements. A full day of matchmaking will follow a brief opening ceremony. Each matchmaking appointment will be brief, probably just 8-9 minutes each. These appointments will be scheduled prior to the event using third-party software tied to registering for the matchmaker.

Maine Philanthropy Center Conference

Maine Grassroots Basketball League Session 2
The Maine Grassroots Basketball League (MGBL) will be coming to the Augusta Civic Center for its 2nd session of the spring season!
Building on the resounding success of the Fall Showcase, which saw over 50 teams from across the state participate, the MGBL is offering a competitive basketball league for players in grades 5th-10th and Varsity. The league will feature multiple age groups and divisions (A & B) to ensure balanced competition.

43rd Annual State of Maine Sportsman's Show
The 43rd Annual State of Maine Sportsman’s Show is happening March 28th - 30th, 2025. Each spring, The Maine Sportsman magazine, in partnership with Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, hosts the State of Maine Sportsman’s Show at the Augusta Civic Center. Last year, more than 7,500 folks were in attendance.

2025 MCSS Annual Conference
The theme of the 2025 Conference is Expanding Democracy. 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, a landmark piece of federal legislation prohibiting racial discrimination in voting. This year, the MCSS will feature three workshop on session tracks: Wabanaki Studies, African-American Studies, Literacy, and Elementary Social Studies Education.
